Dear Editor,
It is perplexing and indeed difficult to understand really what is happening right in front of the offices at Solwezi Weighbridge.
The entrance and exit roads at the facility have deep and undesirable potholes. The place is full of water. This is a place that is managed by the Road Development Agency, surprisingly .
There are hundreds of heavy trucks and lots of buses entering and leaving the facility every day and they are handsomely paying road toll fees.
the drivers and passengers are made to leave their vehicles as they drive in and out, before being subjected to the pathetic state of the 170-km Solwezi-Chingola road.
This is a road where every motorist, if they arrive safely, is forced to service one’s vehicle, replace one or two tyres and shock absorbers immediately they reach their destinations.
Please let the Road Development Agency look into the welfare of the travelling public by mending those potholes.
SUKUMUNA JOHN.
