Chanda Mfula- PF Media and Publicity Secretary
PF Media and Publicity Secretary Chanda Mfula has disclosed that the ruling Patriotic front (PF) has NO official Facebook Page, this follows some unscrupulous Facebook pages whose status updates are promoting falsehood stories and division based on tribe and race.
In his statement, Mfula stated that
“Please take note that while some of our leaders have decided to start their own Facebook pages, the Patriotic Front (PF) as a party does not have an official Facebook page.
We have noticed there are a number of pages run by supporters of the party but none of these speak the official position of the PF, and we have no control of the information those who run these pages will post on them because we do not even know who these people are in person. You will appreciate how hard that is in an era of social media.
We also hope that the people who run these Facebook pages will do the party a favour by clarifying that these pages are not official pages of the PF.”
Mfula’s statement follows recent mushrooming of stooge Facebook pages purporting to be official ruling Patriotic Front (PF) Facebook pages which whose status updates slander or praise some party leaders.
