A Zambia air force officer has appeared in court for allegedly stealing hundred rounds of ammunition.
Thirty-Six-year Bonic Ngoma an air force technician pleaded not guilty to one count of theft by public servant.
He is alleged to have on unknown dates but between December 20, 2012 and January 23, 2013 in Lusaka being a person employed in the ministry of defence as an Amery did steal hundred rounds of ammunition.
Ngoma appeared along with Marky Munkanya, Felix Habauka, Biemba Biemba, Lackson Kanwete and Pristone Mushinga.
The five other suspects are charged with unlawful possession of prohibited articles in which they are alleged to have had in their possession two AK47 rifles and five hundred and two rounds of ammunition.
Lusaka principle resident magistrate Alaidah Chulu has since granted the six suspects two thousand Kwacha Rebased cash bail.
