The Lusaka High Court has entered a default judgement in which former Chilanga Member of Parliament Keith Mukata’s former co accused Charmaine Musonda had sued the Attorney General for unlawful detention.
Ms. Musonda has claimed K800,000 damages for false imprisonment, damages for malicious prosecution, general damages, interest on sums payable at the current bank of Zambia lending rate and any other relief the court may deem fit and just.
Charmaine Musonda had sued the Attorney General in terms of the State proceedings Act chapter 71 volume 6 of the laws of Zambia.
