Joe Tembo, a 30 year old man committed suicide by poisoning himself and two of his children at a Lodge in Matero Township.
Staff at the lodge in Matero reported that Tembo accompanied by his children booked a room on Tuesday around 22:00Hrs.
Tembo sent a 12min suicide voice note to his wife, stating the reasons for his actions, then took pictures of the children, with food he had purchased & sent the photos to his wife.
In the audio note, he complained that she had been masturbating a lot and deprived him sexual pleasures through out their 8 year marriage, Thus she left the door open for him to go as far as having a girlfriend.
Police Assistant Public Relations Officer Godfrey Chilabi said that the staff at the lodge noticed that the guests were not coming out despite knocking on the door several times on Wednesday, around 20:00hrs.
