IT IS good that we now have a good stadium in Lusaka almost completed and very soon we will once again have international matches played in the capital city of Zambia.
It is good to have modern sports infrastructure since we are talking about improving the soccer standards in the country.
The Patriotic Front (PF) government, through the hard working minister of Youth and Sports, Chishimba Kambwili, is paying attention to the need to improve sports infrastructure.
I think we need to start with the provision of good sports infrastructure.
We have a lot of stadia in Zambia that can be upgraded, including Godfrey ‘Ucar’ Chitalu stadium in Kabwe and Konkola stadium in Chililabombwe.
With good planning, these can be upgraded to meet international standards.
What will be the best name for the newly constructed stadium in Lusaka? I propose Kalusha Bwalya stadium so that the man can be honoured for his many years of successful contribution to the development of soccer in Zambia.
