A Lusaka based Clergyman has proposed that Republican President Edgar Lungu considers engaging three or four spiritually upright men of God who will guide him spiritually.
Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) House of David Pastor in-Charge Goodson Kamanga disclosed an interview that this aspect has been ignored for several years now by successive leaders.
Pastor Kamanga says Zambia is a Christian and should therefore have men of God who should be guiding the Head of State on how best the country can remain on the right path spiritually.
Pastor Kamanga notes that the Head of State has advisers in areas such as economic affairs, politics, among others but has no one to guide him spiritually.
He says it is for this reason that the President should consider engaging a few men of God who will be able to stand in the gap on his behalf so that issues of calamity can be seen spiritually and be avoided.
And Pastor Kamanga says the President should be commended for breaking the culture of not communicating whenever a Head of State is sick.
He has since called on men of God in the country to come together and stand in the gap so that the President may come back home in good health.
