Those appointed to the Tribunal are:
1. Hon. Mr. Justice Annel Silungwe (Former Chief Justice)-Chairperson
2. Hon. Mr. Justice Mathew Ngulube (Former Chief Justice)- Member
3. Hon. Mr. Ernest Sakala (Former Chief Justice)- Member
4. And Mr. Mathew Zulu (Secretary)
The Tribunal has been tasked with 8 Terms of Reference that include the probing of the alleged acts of impropriety by the DPP as alleged by members of the public.
The President has since notified the Chief Justice, Hon. Madam Justice Ireen Mambilima, of the matter.
President Lungu has since suspended Mr. Mutembo Nchito as Director of Public Prosecutions pending the outcome of the Tribunal.
And in accordance with Article 57 of the Constitution of Zambia, President Lungu has since appointed Mrs. Lillian Shawa Siyuni to discharge the functions and powers of the Director of Public Prosecutions during this period.
Meanwhile President Lungu has appointed Hon. Ngosa Simbyakula to act as President during his absence, Hon. Simbyakula will also act as Minister of Defence and Minister of Justice.
President Lungu has also terminated the contract of Mr. Felix Nkulukusa as Permanent Secretary, Economic Management and Finance (EMF) for the Ministry of Finance and replaced him with Dr Ronald Simwiinga who is currently the Director of Investment and Debt management.
The President has also appointed Mr. Godfrey Malama as Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Services. The President has also appointed Mr. Stardy Mwale as Permanent Secretary for Lusaka Province.
