Mukanga Calls For Bobby East’s Arrest

Works and Supply Minister Yamfwa Mukanga says anyone who wants to use information  communication technology should be responsible enough to use it for the development of the country and not to corrupt people’s morals.Commenting on Lusaka based singer  Robert Chungu  aka Bobby East ,who appeared in a sex romp  video circulating on social media ,Mukanaga said the singer should be arrested for denting the countries image.
“This is what I always say;whoever wants to use ICT’s should be responsible enough to use it to the development of the country and not to corrupt peoples morals.We have children who know how to operate phones and computers;they should find things that are educational when they are browsing the internet and not obscene materials,”he said.
He added that Zambians should be fed healthy information beneficial to the development of the country.
“one of the issues ZICTA should work on is to ensure that Zambians use the web responsibly.He acknowledged that ZICTA at the moment did not have the capacity and equipment to monitor people abusing the cyber space for unproductive activities that did not add any value to the economy.
